I've had this wedge for about 3 months now and I couldn't be happier with it. I use a 52˚ gap wedge with 8˚ of bounce. I use it from 110-122 yards out. It's perfect on Par 5's because I can lay up to my gap wedge distance if the hole isn't reachable in two and I have complete confidence that I can land it softly within 12 feet for a birdie putt. It spins so much. From a clean lie it always spins back at least a few feet. Even from the rough, you can get it to check up. It might not spin back , but it will surely hold on to any green if you hit it crisp. It's a great club for any player, because it's easy to hit, but versatile for an advanced player with shot creativity. The black finish is a nice compliment to a great club, it reduces glare and gives it a sharp clean look. BOTTOM LINE: worth the money, a great wedge for all players.

I'm a beginner and bought this after talking to my golf instructor, and reading the reviews.
In the first time I took it I was really happy as I could put almost all balls on the green without any problem.
There is a huge difference between this wedge and the one I was used to train (don't know the name) but I'm sure this wedge will down my number of shoots.
I didn't give a 5 star as I don't know the durability (just bought it).

These things BITE!. Had no trouble spinning back a ProV1X the first time I put them in the bag. Plus they look fabulous at address. Dial in your distance and let 'er rip. Nice out of the sand as well. And contrary to what some say, doesn't tear up my Pro V1X's.

Recently purchased a 56 degree 12 bounce rac Black SW and have been playing with it for almost a year. Perfect for the firm conditions of Jersey. Ball sticks to this club like glue, its AWESOME. Not only does it thrive in the sand, but it makes for excellent over the bunker chip chots from the tight fairway or rough. Places great spin on the ball!!!

I bought one of the 60degree wedges after seeing a friend with one, and let me tell you, these are amazing! I dropped about 4 strokes a round just by putting this club in my bag. I killer around the greens and am now sinking at least 2 shots a round from along the green. It is by far the best i have used out of the sand as well. I would take this club over a vokey any day. I plan on adding two more to replace my sand and gap wedges. Thanks TaylorMade for a great product!!

This club is the difference between a happy short game and a headache. The balance of the club is spot on and lets you get under the ball easily (that means less topping the ball twenty yards past the hole). The spin that you can create from this club will force you to start using your divot tool on every hole. The sleek black coloring is also a good touch for anti-glare along with anti-rusting. I recommend this club fully.

I have the 52 and 56 black tp wedges and they have singlehandedly changed my game around. getting the ball to check up is extremely easy. I know it is easy for the lower handicappers. It has never been easy for me until now. Watching the ball stop on a dime is a pleasure I have only known from watching pros on T.V. Not any more. Now its a commen occurence for me.

These are some of the best wedges i have ever played. Before these wedges i had Titleist Spin Milled and those were very nice but i don't think that you get the feel like you do with these wedges. These Wedges will put just as much spin on the ball as the Titleist wedges did. I recommend you buy these wedges if you are looking for the softest landing you can get and are a skilled player. You may not be able to get all the performance out of these wedges if you are just beginning. Also be ready to clean these wedges after every round because my friend has these same wedges and he neglected to clean his clubs after every round and they started to rust. The rust is nothing that should determine whether you buy these wedges or not.

about six months ago i got the rac black tp 56. Immediatly i fell in love with it. It is hard to hit from far at first, but it comes. Around the greens, i started getting up and down EVERY time. I had 11 puts in on 9 hole round. It has awsome spin. It is easy to get near hard pins. I loved it so much i got the lob wedge last week at its great! i was using a clevland 588 lob and HATED it. it was absolutely terrible. I am flopping like phill with it now. on the long run it is great. had only 2 complaints- the metal is REALLY soft so it dings easily, (like if you walk 9 holes u will see little cosmetic marks from where it hit other clubs) and the beautiful black finish wears off on the bottum and hosel from sand shots and such. But those are cosmetic. The clubface is so "sticky"! i love it. if u doubt the spin people are talking about, but your thumb on the clubface and try to slide it. you cant. And the grooves are also fabulose. Like said below, it is not super forgiving. but definatly a 5 star club. never using a different wedge again...

I have been using the 2005 model TM RAC 60 and 56 degree wedges( some wear) I recently purchased the TM TP RAC model in a lob 60 degree loft. UNBELIEVABLE! The forward spin is now backspin (4 to 10 feet back and left) or drop bounce, bounce (2 feet from ballmark) and then anchored on even the firmest of fastest of greens period! The feel is better at ball contact and I can place the ball better on line and distance(98yds and in) I'm throwing ball darts near the pin and it holds like velcro. I liked the 60 degree TM TP so much that I bought the 56 degree TM TP now birdie putts from 116 yds and yes it holds like velcro. Birdie putts have gone from 1 per round to 3, bogeys from 4 to 2. I have been practicing greenside 3 feet to 6yds) chipping with noticeable increase in ball roll control. I think I need a birdie putting TM TP wedge from 135 yds maybe the 50 degree will do. Driver swing speed 127 mph.
