The Big Bertha Diablo 3 Wood from Callaway is crafted from 100% stainless steel to deliver explosive power from the club face. Using Edge Technology the Callaway engineers have placed weight strategically around the clubface to optimise the Centre of Gravity positon meaning the the Big Bertha Diablo is available in both draw and neutral set-ups to complement your game. Utilising VTF Technology the varying level of face thickness in the Diablo Fairway Woods result in higher ball speeds from a larger area of the face for that all important distance. The Diablo delivers this unparalleled length without sacrificing accuracy thanks to Callaways discretionary weighting that moves weight from the hosel to the perimeter of the club to maximise impact stabilty.

The Callaway Big Bertha Diablo fairway wood which shares the same cutting edge appearance and technology as the Diablo driver in a stainless steel clubhead. The fairway woods also include VFT or Variable Face Thickness Technology which allows for different levels of thickness across the clubface to ensure much higher ball speeds from a larger area of the face. The Big Bertha Diablo Fairway wood is available in 3, 5, 7 and 9 wood options with a draw bias and also in 13, 15 and 18 degree neutral options.

Having been impressed by the distance and power of the Diablo driver we are delighted to report that in our tests the fairway wood offered the same level of performance. We thought the Diablo fairway was excellent from both the fairway and the tee and should appeal to players of all levels, especially those who fade the ball as the design of even the neutral version promotes a little draw. The VFT technology certainly makes the club very forgiving but also allows the better players out there to shape their shots. We feel that this is one of the best fairways in the market today and even Phil Mickelson says this is the best fairway wood he has ever hit and who are we to disagree with him.

Bring every course to its knees. Edge Technology takes advantage of weight placement within an all-stainless steel clubhead. Edge Technology
The unique shaping of the all-stainless steel clubheads allowed the engineers to place weight in specific locations to achieve the optimal CG location and ball flights for the Draw or Neutral options with a higher MOI. How it works: The aforementioned "Edge" technology moves mass more to the perimeter, or edge, of the clubhead. This means higher MOI for increased stability through the hitting zone. Lastly, varying the face thickness should increase efficiency with misses.

  I have hit quite a few fairway woods over the years and have found the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Fairway Wood to be the best I have come across! Very easy to hit cleanly and it produces sufficient heighth to the shot and a lot of distance. The feel is also good. I will give it 5 stars!
