If I really pure the ball, I can get about 5 yards longer than my driver (Titleist 909D2), but usually, I get about 210-215 from this club.   I looked down to see where I made contact and sure enough it had chipped on the top line. I did not sky it, I made flush contact, but when the ball compressed on the face it tore part of the paint off. In a months time the crown had plenty of chips. I have played many-a-club in my day, and as far as durability goes, I have come to expect more.
