The stealth PVD Finish, which is the result of a cutting-edge process designed to reduce glare and produce a distinctive look that is darker than most irons. Callaway X-24 Hot Irons were also made with Callaway’s core technologies including S2H2, Precision Notch Weighting and Modified Tru-Bore, all working together to provide total performance for a wide range of golfers.

Like previous X Series irons, Callaway designed the faces of the X-24 Hot to progress from thick on the bottom to thin along the topline. According to Callaway, this lowers the center of gravity and makes getting the ball into the air a lot easier.

Like its predecessors (the X-22, X-20), the X-24 Hot irons also feature an undercut channel behind the face. The material and weight removed from that area are redistributed to the heel and toe areas to help create more stability.

Where the X-24 Hot irons differ greatly is in the finish. Instead of bright, shiny chrome the clubs come standard in a glare-reducing rusty brown finish.

  These are very forgiving irons, excellent for anyone not playing better than bogey golf yet. Off centre hits still go far, ball gets up very quick, basically you just line yourself up and swing away.

  The black finish is definitely very nice looking and appealing to all golfers. The orange and the “HOT” name has got to go. Remove the huge amount of orange paintfill and maybe have accents of it somewhere in the cavity.

  They look good, I think it’s darker color is very smart, I’m sure they are called HOT because of something they have done to the face to create a higher ball speed regardless of swing speed.

  Overall the Callaway X-24 Hot irons are excellent choices if you're in the market for a game improvement iron that will deliver effortless shots. I'd love to try them out with a steel shaft because, while it's not going to top my list of game improvement irons, they certainly have a lot to offer any golfer struggling with their irons or wanting to take their game a step forward. And they really do look great!

  BIG ORANGE has got to go. Like the black finish. I still play X-14 and hav been waiting for soming thing that can really beat them, you have done it yet. I think the wings could be a little lower as well. I have never minded the bore-thru head always thoght it lept club stable. Uniflex shaft always worked well you guys should not knock it, those who must not know how it really works, it benifits your game. Stop trying to be better than you think you are.

  I’ll give it a preliminary 7. I’m not a huge fan of the orange, but the black finish is neat. I’d be interested in knowing in which ways these aren’t just painted X-22′s, because the body shape looks identical to me. The vertical center of gravity on the X series has slowly been creeping upwards… I think Callaway would be smart to not let form completely overtake function. Lower those wings down a little to get the CG deeper while still having good MOI. Lastly, I applaud finally getting rid of the bore-thru head.

  Hi, these clubs look great, and are very forgiving on mishits. I am hitting about 15 yards longer on each club.........and the best part is down the middle of the fairway. A great product from Callaway, I would like to recommend these irons for any golfer.
